George Bellamy Collection - 'A Collector's Dream' Exhibition 2024
George Bellamy’s famous collection of Wemyss Ware® consisted of many rare pieces, all made in Kirkcaldy, Fife, before 1930. Most of his Wemyss Ware® was in perfect condition. There is a lovely book detailing his Wemyss Ware® collection entitled ‘Scottish Wemyss Ware 1882-1930’ (for sale in our shop and on our website), and his entire beautiful collection was sold at Lyon & Turnbull in Edinburgh earlier this year.
